REALTOR©, National and Lewis County Associations
Member of both the national and local REALTORS© associations. “All real estate licensees are not the same. Only real estate licensees who are members of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF REALTORS© are properly called REALTORS©. They proudly display the REALTOR "©" logo on the business card or other marketing and sales literature. REALTORS© are committed to treat all parties to a transaction honestly. REALTORS© subscribe to a strict code of ethics and are expected to maintain a higher level of knowledge of the process of buying and selling real estate.” (Taken from Realtor.com)
Vice President, Lewis County Literacy Council
The Lewis County Literacy Council envisioned in 1971, is a community based organization and a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation. We are housed, through a grant from the Washington State Board of Community and Technical Colleges, in the Kirk Library on the Centralia College campus. Other funding comes from United Way of Lewis County, our annual Knowledge Bowl fundraiser, grants and in-kind donations. To promote increasing job skills for our local workforce, we also advocate for increasing those skills through our membership with the Centralia-Chehalis, and East Lewis County Chambers of Commerce Hoping to diminish future needs for adult literacy services we work closely with our United Way sister agencies to reduce the cycles of poverty that contribute to illiteracy and other social ills. More information available at http://www.lewiscountyliteracy.org.
Member, Centralia Downtown Association
The towns of Centralia and Chehalis have a rich and vital past with hope for an exciting future. As an active member of this community I am committed to "a future in which Centralia is again the Hub City for small conventions, business meetings, seminars, entertainment, and recreation. A thriving hospitality industry is a core element of the local economy. Centralia's historic ambience, friendly atmosphere and high quality of life make it an attractive place to visit, do business, live and raise a family." I am excited about where this community is headed and I look forward to supporting the real estate needs of those who have lived here for many generations and those new to the area. My membership in the CDA is just one way that I'm working for the future of our city and county.
